Food Program Approved for Kids
WACO, Texas (KWTX) Emergency Meals-to-You — a program aimed at delivering 1,000,000 meals per week to rural school children at schools currently closed due to the coronavirus — was praised by President Donald Trump Friday at the White House.
The Baylor University Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty teamed up with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, McLane Global and PepsiCo on March 17.
