Texas House Bill 3217 Signed into Law, Reinstating Education Degree
On May 24th, 2019, Texas history was made! Governor Greg Abbott signed into law HB3217, the bill that reinstates the education degree in the state of Texas. This is the culmination of over 1 ½ years’ worth of work and an unprecedented level of coordination and collaboration by universities across the state of Texas. The passage of this law exemplifies the power of working together. Congratulations to Texas teachers as you get to reclaim your careers!
