Helping Students Make Sense of Our Current World

With COVID-19 and the George Floyd protests, students and teachers may be having difficulty processing and responding to all that is going on in our nation. Teachers will need to be prepared for the social and emotional support as well as the increased academic support that students will need upon returning to school. This article provides some teaching ideas and resources to help students make sense of the protests. These resources are ideal for high school educators as well as college faculty.
