Weston Rose, M.A.

Weston Rose is a Program Manager in the Office of Academic Affairs at The University of Texas System. He provides support for multiple systemwide initiatives related to the P-20 education pipeline including ElevateTXed. Weston joined the Office of Academic Affairs at UT System in June 2016. After receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Sam Houston State University, he began his career as a lecturer of Rhetoric & Composition and academic advisor before joining the Office of Graduate Studies as a Media & Communications Specialist where he produced a yearly publication focused on graduate student research. In 2020, he completed UT Austin’s Full-Stack Web Development Bootcamp and has served as a content publisher in content management systems (i.e., Drupal, WordPress) for the last 10 years.
