Erin Green, M.Ed.

Erin Green is a doctoral candidate and assistant instructor in the College of Education at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on critical approaches to elementary social studies, and she teaches the undergraduate Social Studies Methods course for preservice teachers pursuing a degree in Applied Learning and Development with certification to teach PK-6th Grade. Erin is a former elementary and middle school teacher in Austin, and is passionate about working to bridge the gap between academia and the K-12 classroom. Erin serves as ElevateTXed’s Social Media Manager and is the leader of the ElevateTXed Student Ambassador Program.
